A poet is the best liar ,

Who can weave her magic

And spin words into poems,

Gives facts the colour of fiction

And says reality has no connection.

A poet is a soul stirrer

She can stir your heart

Can stir your mind

Can soothe your pain

Can take you to the dreamland

Can light up your world

A poet is a mirror

And her poem is the reflection

Reflection of the heartaches

Reflection of the joys and sorrows

Reflection of the plights

Reflection of the sights

Reflection of you

Reflection of me

Reflection of millions of souls

A poet is an amorphous

She lives many characters

And says,

I am nothing but a character.

A poet is the biggest liar.
